CD Chandelier

With the steady dematerialization of CD based data storage, much of the packaging associated with these items has begun to turn up in landfills. With ecology in mind, this project investigates repurposing the industrial artifact beyond its originally intended functionality. The jewel case possesses specific transparent and opaque parts, which provide interesting lighting opportunities. Invited to the Use More – Use Less Exhibition.
