Moodtray

This small tray utilizes heat sensitive, color-changing material on its surface and on the bands surrounding four companion cups. Round depressions protrude down from the unit, providing nesting spaces for the cups and also act as the trays “feet.” When warm or cold plates, cups or carafes are placed on the tray, they leave behind a colorful, temporal mark that acts like a memory of its warm passengers.
