The principal issue with doorstops is that they become a nuisance when in disuse by creating a tripping hazard. The tendency is to “clean up” this item and put it away from view thereby making its function difficult to implement when considered most necessary. The idea to hang the object allows the doorstop to more naturally associate with the doors that it is dependent upon to perform its task. It is made from extremely durable silicone, which has a high tear-strength and is easily washable with soap and water. Designed for Areaware.
