ODG Exhibition

The exhibition Josh Owen: Big Ideas / Small Packages was installed in gallery222 for the first Design Philadelphia in 2005. In this exhibit, newly designed products were showcased in a series of vignettes throughout the gallery. The show focused on Owens smaller objects, incuding his Tone Knob lamp for Umbra, clocks for Benza, a lamp and table for Bozart, and others for Kikkerland; several on view to the public for the first time in this context. Each vignette was designed and constructed to provoke and enhance the viewers understanding of the products displayed through the use of quantity, scale and contrast.
