Metaproject 01 Exhibition

In the fall of 2010, Metaproject, a senior studio at Rochester Institute of Technology partnered with Wilsonart International’s. For this inaugural installment, students were challenged to create seating prototypes that celebrate the richness of Wilsonart International’s laminate surfacing materials. Practicing professionalism, students performed research and proposed inventive solutions that were then developed by the end of the course. The work was exhibited at the 2011 International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) as part of Design Week in New York City. Photos by Elizabeth Lamark.
